Come and listen to these two glorious pieces of music, performed in the wonderful acoustic of Clifton Cathedral.
We are pleased to welcome Nicki Kennedy soprano, Pamela Rudge alto, John Bowley tenor and Martin Le Poidevin bass as the soloists.
Mozart's Requeim is one of the most popular works in the choral repertoire. Bruckner revered Mozart and studied the Requiem whilst making revisions to his own Mass in F minor: Mozart's influence can be heard. This grandest of Bruckner's choral works was apparently written to thank God on recovering from a period of ill health. The works are both well-suited to the glorious acoustic of Clifton Cathedral. We look forward to seeing you at the concert.
